Welcome!
Welcome to the 2012 Japan Mission Team blog! I am excited to share about our trip and team with you!
Our purpose as a team is to share God’s love with the people
in Japan, and be an encouragement as we serve with the people at Koganei Free
Methodist Church in Tokyo. Throughout the twelve days, we will be participating
in a VBS camp for elementary school kids and several worship services, leading
worship and games, counseling, performing skits, and sharing our testimonies.
Pastor Nobu will be speaking at the camp and church services as well.
The team will also visit areas devastated by the earthquake
and tsunami last year. We hope that it will open our eyes and hearts to the
ever-present needs, both physical and spiritual, which remain in the aftermath.
We are excited about the opportunities and experiences that
lie ahead. Please pray for all the preparations that we need to do before
leaving, all the team members’ health, and for the churches that will be
receiving us in Japan.
Thank you for all your prayers and support us as we prepare
for this trip!
